2 ½ -D ROBOT VISION

Three-dimensional robot vision systems using a single camera

Further development of the 2D technology resulted in an intelligent recognition method that enables determination of a part`s height using just a single camera and a single camera position. This technology, called 2½-D robot vision, results in a system that is affordable, and yet, at the same time complete. 3D palletizing is a typical application using of 2½-D robot vision.
