Three-dimensional vision systems using a single camera
Further development of the 2D technology resulted in an intelligent recognition method that enables determination of a part`s height using just a single camera and a single camera position. This technology, called 2½ D Robot Vision, results in a system that is affordable, and yet, at the same time complete. 3D palletizing is a typical application using of 2½ D Robot Vision.
