Utilizing Machine Vision in paint shops gives a higher return on investment, higher quality, and minimum follow-up costs due to customer complaints. Depending on task and process level, various systems from our Quality Vision, Robot Vision, and Surface Vision portfolios may be used.
Exact determination of position and orientation
for all six degrees of freedom of the car body through 3D Robot Vision Systems for:
· Cavity sealing · Underbody coating · Seam sealing · Door sill application · Opening of doors and flaps · Apparent seam application
In-line seam correction using 3D Robot Vision
In
order to reduce the seam width, the applicator with a 3D in-line seam
correction device is always guided along the required seam. As a result
of the data transfer in the interpolation tact, robot guidance is
conducted at speeds up up to 800 mm/sec.
Robot guidance and seam inspection
in a single sensor for window flange masking or fine seam sealing. Speeds of up to 800mm/sec can be achieved with seam guidance sensors. Seam inspection takes place in process.
Optical paint finish inspection (Car Paint Vision)
with defect marking for targeted correction, regardless of color, geometry model and paint type (cathodic dip paint, primer, final coat, clear coat, or others). Fully automated complete area surface inspection systems enable secure and repeatable recognition of even the smallest defects. | |
