High gloss without blemishes - automated quality control for ceramics and white goods
Supply bottlenecks and material shortages pose challenges for companies and increase already high-cost pressure. This is why optimal processes without frictional losses play a decisive role in the economic success of white goods and consumer goods production.
Automated quality control with inspection systems from ISRA identifies production defects on high-gloss fronts, sanitary ceramics, or ceramic hobs quickly and cost-effectively and allows for direct conclusions to be drawn about faulty process behavior.
Users can optimize processes and machine settings promptly to improve the production process. This reduces scrap and production costs. The fully automatic inspection of flat or curved surfaces is optimized for short cycle times and is fully integrated into the production process.
Sanitary ceramics
Thanks to phase-measuring deflectometry, inspection systems from ISRA detect cosmetic defects on flat sanitary ceramics quickly and reliably and provide specific information about possible causes in the production process. Defective parts can be retreated or sorted out accordingly. Extensively curved objects are subject to an individual feasibility check.

High-gloss decors
On high-gloss decors, scratches, inclusions, and other production defects are very quickly apparent. Nevertheless, the manual visual inspection does not guarantee 100% control. Automatic inspection is ideal for guaranteeing a high-quality standard even on large surfaces and at short cycle times.

Ceramic hobs
Fully integrated into the production process, inspection systems from ISRA inspect ceramic glass cooktops. The focus is on the optical measurement of the flatness. Plates that do not meet the desired flatness tolerances are removed. At the same time, the system checks the surface for optical defects such as scratches, chippings, or other defects.

Housing parts and machine fronts
Immaculately glossing housings and fronts are often essential for the appearance of household appliances such as refrigerators, dishwashers, vacuum cleaners, or washing machines. Regardless of the color, inspection systems from ISRA inspect painted or glossy coated plastic, glass, or metal surfaces and identify defects down to the micrometer range.
